Digital & Online Creativity education

Project

The current crisis linked to the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the need for modernization and digital transformation of education and training across Europe. While many institutions are adequately resourced and have considerable knowledge and experience in providing students with effective distance / online teaching and learning, others are not so fortunate.
During this crisis, educators have had to get and learn very quickly – in ‘real time’ – how and deliver an engaging and inclusive curriculum ‘from a distance’, while helping their students learn about the huge change in the way they acquire new knowledge. and skills.
The goal of this 18-month project is to advance and strengthen the capacity of teachers in development vocational education and training centers and provide effective, high-quality and inclusive digital education within the creative sector.

Project’s goals

The objectives are therefore:
1. Develop accessible digital approaches to provide effective assessment methods.
2.The development of teachers’ ICT skills to support both synchronous and asynchronous teaching.
3. Developing teacher coaching strategies to enable them to support other colleagues in their organizations.

Activities

The core of the project is the development of the teacher’s ability to create and implement engaging, effective and transferable online, blended and distance teaching and learning strategies. The project will support teachers in acquiring and developing these skills / knowledge by organizing training weeks in which to use accessible online teaching tools, share ideas, digital resources, experiences and best practices. It is foreseen that during the training events / good practice exchange meetings there will be experts to hold master classes and share innovative practices.
In addition, the project will also seek to develop the digital pedagogical skills of the participating teachers so that they can train other colleagues in their organizations throughout the duration of the project and beyond. The aim of the project is for participating teachers to become ‘digital champions’ for their own centers and for their learning to benefit as many teachers as possible, enabling them to provide high quality online distance / blended teaching to their own students.
